摘要
足够的词汇量是语言技能的基础,词汇教学是英语教学的重要内容之一。隐喻作为认知方式,在人类的思维与语言表达中无所不在。本文从认知隐喻的角度,阐述隐喻与词汇之间的内在联系,尤其是隐喻与多义词、习语等的关系,并结合英语词汇教学实际,探讨了隐喻在英语词汇教学中的指导作用。
Vocabulary teaching is a very important part of English teaching. Metaphor, as a way of cognition, permeates in thinking and language, and it plays an important role in vocabulary learning. In the article, the relationship between vocabulary and metaphor and the functions of metaphor in vocabulary teaching and learning is explored.
