一个文学思潮的出现,有其现实的原因从而保持其独立性,但它不可能脱离历史,它必然能在历史承续演变的时间序列中占据一个承上启下的位置。文章指出革命文学并不是"五四"文学革命的反叛者,它在精神特征方面与"五四"文学革命有着血与肉的联系,其精神特征是人的不断发现与文学作品中个人情感的流露。
