党的十七大报告提出,要正确认识和处理"宗教关系",并把"宗教关系"列为当前和今后我国社会政治生活领域需要特别关注和务必处理好的重大关系之一。西部地区少数民族人口众多,信教群众占人口比例大,宗教在西部地区有着极其浓厚的文化积淀。因此,加强民族团结、促进宗教关系和谐的任务重大。本文试图就西部民族地区构建和谐社会视阈中的宗教关系及其发展态势作一探索。

The party＇s seventeen conference report indicates that have to accurately recognize and deal with the ＂religion relation＂, and classify it as the one of grave relations that needs to be specially focused and must be handled in the field of our country＇s social and political life for the nowadays and future. There are great among of national minority population in the west coastal region, and the proportion of religious populations is really large, and religions have dense cultural sediments there. Therefore, the responsibility of reinforcing the national comity, prodding the religion relation is grave. In this paper tries to explore about the religion relation and its development situation in the visual threshold of building harmonious society in the west coastal area.
