论“以中释中”

On "Interpreting Chinese with Chinese Discourse"

"以西释中"的诠释范式不仅不能充分凸显中国文化自身的特质,而且包含了贬抑乃至扭曲中国文化的可能性,因而是不合理的,其将西方现代文化看作是人类文化之"共法"的理论前提也是不能成立的。为适应"集中多民族文化共同体的智慧以解决地球村所面临之共同困限"的时代要求,中国文化的基本诠释范式应当转向"以中释中"。为此,要在人类文化殊相之一的层面回归中国文化,使中国文化和西方文化二者均作为人类文化殊相之一而存在,并在人类文化之一般精神的统领下开展平等对话;要切实挺立民族文化精神的主体性;要继续以开放的心态对待西方文化;要凸显"双向互动,层级累进"的方法意识,逐渐推进"以中释中"诠释范式的不断生成。

The paradigm of ＂interpreting Chinese with western discourse＂, which has a premise of setting modern western culture as the ＂universal law＂ of human culture, is not the proper way, for it not only fails to reveal the particularity of Chinese culture sufficiently, but also contains the possibility of depreciating or even distorting that. To suit the requirement from the epoch, which aims to solve the mutual difficulties in ＂global village＂ through the wisdom of many more national cultures, the basic paradigm of interpreting Chinese culture should turn to ＂ interpreting Chinese with the Chinese method＂. To achieve that, we should return to Chinese culture on the level of one particularity of human culture, make both Chinese culture and the western one as particularities, and communicate equally under the leading of the spirit of human culture in general; we should uplift the subjectivity of our national culture effectively; we should go on to treat western culture with an open mind; we should insist the methodology of ＂two -way interaction and layer accumulation＂, promote to establish the paradigm of ＂interpreting Chinese with Chinese discourse＂ gradually.
