Jumping out of the "Deontology-Consequence" Framework——On Deontology And Consequencialist In Bioethics

基于生命伦理学的性质和任务上的特点,生命伦理学应避免囿于"道义-后果"论的藩篱,在分析和解决问题时,一方面要借鉴人类历史上一切优秀的伦理学理论资源和研究方法;另一方面还要开拓视野,高屋建瓴,创新方法,或者借鉴别的学科的方法和成果,多视角多方法地分析和处理问题。坚持伦理价值绝对性和相对性的统一,在具体论争中相互尊重和加强对话。只有这样才能促进生命伦理学的发展,并从客观上发展和创新伦理学。

The bioethical principle, which is the embodiment of ＂deontology--consequence＂ thinking framework, has its disadvantages. Thus when dealing with bioethical problems, we should take into consideration the features of nature and the task of bioethics, and jump out of the ＂deontology-consequencialist＂ thinking framework. On the one hand we must pay more attention to all of the valuable ethical theories and approaches in history; on the other, we must open our minds and find new approaches or learn from the relevant disciplinaries. Furthermore, we need to keep unified the ethical universality and relativity, to improve bioethical developments by way of mutual respect and intercultural dialogue.
