Discussion on Some Measures for Enterprises to Deal With Technical Barriers to Trade

我国作为最大的发展中国家,近几年来对外贸易快速发展,我国出口产品所遭受到的技术壁垒不断增加,研究表明,国外设置的技术壁垒对我国出口的直接和间接影响超过450亿美元,占全年出口总额的25%以上,使国内工业的生产也遭受到了严重的冲击。当然,另一方面,贸易技术壁垒(TBT)也体现了消费者对产品安全和质量有了更高的要求,对环保的重视程度也越来越高,这对我们国家同时也是一个机遇。因此,加强对技术性贸易壁垒的研究,采取相应的对策,对突破技术壁垒,促进我国对外贸易和国内工业的发展,具有重要意义。

Foreign trade is developing rapidly during recent years in China, the largest developing country. The technical barriers tothe exports of China continue to increase. The study shows that the direct and indirect impact of foreign technical barriers on Chinese exports has exceeded 45 billion US dollars, which accounts for more than 25 percent of the total annual exports. Therefore, the domestic industrial production suffers a serious blow. On the other hand, the Technical Barriers to Trade （TBT） also reflects that the consumers have hi .gher requirements on product safety and quality, and the emphasis on environmental protection is also growing, which is an opportunity to our country as well. Therefore, strengthening the research on the technical barriers to trade and taking corresponding countermeasures to break through technical barriers, and to promote foreign trade and domestic industrial development are of great significance.
