未来建筑(学)理论与实践的侧重点──兼谈建筑与城市发展的和合观

The Focus of Future Architectural Theory and Practice──On the Commingling of Architecture and Urban Development

此文根据1999年北京UIA大会学术主题“21世纪的建筑学”，对其四个分题“建筑与环境”、“建筑与文化”、“建筑与科技”、“建筑与城市”的内容，提出12点需要侧重解决的理论与实践问题；同时提出了这12点和合关系的内容，阐述了建筑与城市发展的和合观。

This paper raises 12 focal theoretical and practical issues concerning the four titles covered in the theme of UIA Congress Bejing 1999, viz 'Architecture of the 21st Century'. The 12 points are:1. Architecture and environment 1) Protect man's inhabiting environment and maintain appropriate space 2) Maintain smooth road traffic and develop public transport 3) Guarantee greening space and improve environmental quality 2. Architecture and culture 5) Commingling of Oriental and Western cultures 6) Protect, inherit and develop traditional architectural culture 3. Architecture and science and technology 7) Develop intelligence for different forms of architecture 8) Combination of modernity and tradition in technical equipment and materials 9) Maintain vitality 4. Architecture and the city 10) Urban development pattern and variety 11) Emergence and development of districts with comprehensive facilities 12) The strengthening of overall connections and the increase of open space. The commingling of architec- ture and urban development is discussed as well.
