The characteristics of Nordic regionalist architecture is mainly as follows: Showing respect for the history combined with the deeply understanding to the existing environment. It is based on the condition of the region and the given project when Nordic architects use the architectural thoughts of other countries for reference. Fully uses the local resources and makes new buildings to be really local products.
