Remote Monitoring System for Oil Field Safety Based on GPRS

油田生产是一种高风险产业，作业区分布广，环境条件差，生产过程连续复杂，对生产过程安全监控有着严格要求。无线远程监控技术应用于油田已受到广泛关注。本文以油田安全监控系统研发为背景，重点论述了基于GPRS技术的油田生产安全监控系统的构成和监控软件的设计。该系统在油田安全生产中发挥了重要作用，具有广泛应用价值。

Oil and gas fields are of high risk, wide distribution of fields, unfriendly environment and continuous and complex production process. That demands strict monitoring over the safety of production process. The wireless remote monitoring technology in oil field has gained wide concern. This paper, in the frame of development of oil field safety monitoring system, focuses on the composition of the system based on GPRS technology and the design of monitoring software. This system, with its wide application value, is playing an important role in the safe production of the oil field.
