Liu Shi-pei made great contribution to the research of The Yen Tzu Ch＇un Ch＇iu. Based on the achievement of predecessors, Liu Shi-pei made further correction and explanation on its text, carried out textual research on the table of contents, and argued school attribution of the work. He laid a solid foundation for the research of later generations.
