少数民族学生英语学习问题分析研究

A Study on Problems of Minority Students in English Learning

在经济全球化的当今世界,英语作为国际化的交流语言受到全世界的重视。我国把学习英语看成跟学习汉语一样重要,各种各样的考试中,大多包含了英语,有的甚至把英语作为判断一个人素质和水平的标志之一。对于我国的少数民族学生,由于居住山区、交通不便,信息不通,养成的民族文化壁垒对英语学习造成障碍,少数民族学生学习英语存在很大的困难。本文针对这一实际,从语言环境、英语学习的兴趣、英语语言文化背景及树立学习英语的信心等方面进行了探讨,这对提高少数民族学生的英语教学水平,将起到很好的效果。

English has become an international language with the economic globalization. It＇s, to some degree, as important as Chinese, which can be seen from different English tests in China. English is even regarded as one of the criteria to judge a person. However, in some remote areas in China, such problems as poor transportation, lack of information and separation from the rest of the world, have become obstacles to learning English. This paper analyses the problems in language environment, interest in English learning, cultural differences and students＇confidence in learning English, and proposes some oractical suggestions to solve them.
