On Improving Election System in the Party

完善党内选举制度是党员民主权利的保障,是干部权力合法性的基础,是巩固党执政地位的途径,是扩大人民民主的前提。目前我党党内选举制度内容欠民主、体系欠健全、落实欠规范,因而它的完善成为时代的诉求。完善党内选举制度,必须改革其内容,推进民主进程;健全其体系,加快法规建设;理顺其关系,加强监管力度。

To improve election system in the Party ensures Party members＇ democratic fights. It is the legality base of cadres＇ power and the way to consolidate the party to carry out the policies. It is also the prerequisite of enlarging people＇s democracy. The thought about democracy in the Party of Marxism-Leninism classical writers＇ and the leaders＇ of the Party is the theory foundation stone of improving election system in Party. At present, our election system in the Party lacks of democracy in contents, completion in system and rules in fulfillment. Hence, its completion is the appeal of our times. To improve election system in Party, we must reform its contents, push on its democratic procedure; complete its system, speed up its law construction, make its order logical and strengthen the dynamics of supervision.
