In this paper,the process of developing high temperature gas-cooledreactor(HTGR)is briefly described.The HTGR power plants which havebeen built in USA are briefly evaluated.The three projects for developingmodular-high temperature gas-cooled reactor(MHTGR)which are beingput into effect in USA introduced.
