On Literary Logic——A Research of May 4th New Literary Idea

作为文学史的关键词,五四文学革命基于文学史的革命逻辑,五四白话文则试图展现一幅摆脱革命逻辑约束的五四文学新景观。五四白话文是五四时期多种文学参与力量相互关联、共同作用的结果,其形成的整个过程中充斥着偶然与必然,有序与无序,革命与改良的纠缠。研究五四白话文的目的在于为五四文学寻求文学性的文学史定位,尝试构建复杂的文学史观,探寻以科学观念指导下的宽容心态切入文学史研究的可能性。

As the key words in literary history, May 4^th literary revolution is the revolutionary logic on the basis of literary history, while May 4^th vernacular tries to show a new look of May 4tu literature which is free from the constraint of revolutionary logic. May 4^th vernacular is the result of interaction among various literatures during May 4^th Period. Its forming process is full of tangles of contingency versus necessity, order versus disorder, and revolution versus reform. The research of May 4^th vernacular aims at seeking its position in literary history, trying to conslruct complicated outlook on literary history, and exploring the possibility of touching the research of literary history with tolerant attitude under scientific guidance.
