According to the importance of construction from the traffic system. Meanwhile, considering from the city renewing characters from Subei region and its development actuality, the paper takes the research for city design from Huaian Huaihai north road as example, and brings forward the methods how to deal with some traffic problems relating to efficiency, function, esthetics in the process of the city renewing and rebuilding from old town, this will provide a reference for similar projects.
