中世纪西欧的农妇不仅任劳任怨地做着各种家务劳动,还帮助男人们干地里的活,能干的主妇还做一些零活来增加家庭收入。她们充当着重要的角色,但工资只有男性的一半甚至更少,这都是由于生活在中世纪这样的男权社会中。

In Medieval western Europe peasant not only did all kinds of houseworks ,but also helped the men to work in land. The capable housewife also made some odd jobs to increase the household income, they acted as the important role. But their salary was only the half of male or even fewer, because the Middle Ages is the mens rights society.
