Textual Research into the Relationship of Words on Handicraft Raw Materials in The Artificers' Record

手工业原材料是《周礼.考工记》一书记载的一项重要内容。根据中国传统训诂学的训诂原理、语义观念以及词汇语义学原理,运用义素二分法类聚、梳理并分析该书中手工业原材料词语之间的关系。该书中手工业原材料词语之间主要表现为一般与个别的层次关系,词语的一般与个别既相互对立,又相互依存,一般与个别各级层次关系呈现为由低层次到高层次逐级整合的系统。

The Artificers ＇ Record （zhou li kao gong ji）, the earliest handicraft work of China, bears records on six kinds of skills and thirty types of handicraft wok, including the processing of wood, metal, peel, color, pottery, and polishing. It investigates into the relationship of words on handicraft raw materials by the dichotomy of sememe, on the basis of classical Chinese semantics and the principles of lexical semantics. It concludes that these words can be classified into universal words and individual words, correlating with each other and forming an organic system with a hierarchical order.
