国民性问题是自梁启超、鲁迅开始就备受关注的一个问题,由于它具有极强的惰性和延续性,直到今天它还是困扰中国现代化进程的重要问题。新时期作家们接续五四学新文学的传统,对这个问题进行了全方位的思索与阐释。

The nationalistic question has been receiving more attention from the period of Liang Qichao and Lu Xun. Until today it still puzzles the Chinese modem advancement because it greatly strengthened inertia and continuous nature. The new time writers carriy on the omni-directional thinking and the explanation to the nationalistic question by continuing new literature traditions of ＂May 4th Movement＂.
