现代信息环境下大学生英语学习能力初探

Study on the Learning Abilities of College English Learners in the Modern Information Environment

信息时代对人才素质的基本要求是:会学习,会选择,会运用现代信息技术。现代信息环境因此对英语学习者的学习能力也提出了新的要求:在传统学习能力的基础上,要大力培养自主学习能力与协作学习能力、自我监控能力、创新能力和运用信息技术的能力。本文以建构主义理论、元认知理论、创造性思维理论为基础,探讨了信息环境下培养以上学习能力的可能性及必要性。

The information age requires its people of the ability to learn, to select and to employ modern information technology. Accordingly, English learners today will have to be equipped with such abilities as autonomous learning, self-monitoring, innovativeness, and the employment of information technology. Based on the theories of constructivism, metacognition, and creative thinking, the article probes the possibility and the necessity of cultivating the above-mentioned abilities in the modern information environment.
