文学和文化经典在全球化信息时代的今天屡遭解构和戏说，不断经受着来自各方面的挑战。如何在新的文化境遇中重新认识经典的本质和文化特性、反思经典的文化功能？在跨文化的语境下审视经典的形成和流变、意义的解构和重建，既是比较文学研究的胜场，同时也可以推动中国比较文学研究的发展。

Confronted with increasing deconstruction and parody, the literary canon is challenged by a re-definition of itself, particularly concerning its cultural function. The paper investigates the formation and evolution of the literary canon and the meaning of its persistence in the context of global disintegration.
