多年来，采访这个字于我都是主动语态，而近来，我却常常成为被采访的对象，其实不是国外媒体对我感兴趣，而是与中国日益增长的世界影响力以及外国人对中国日渐浓厚的关注有关。作为其中的一个个案，本次采访由壳牌公司专门负责为总裁SEIOEO起草讲话的《壳牌世界》特派记者NorbertBoth完成，我们的谈话围绕中国能否拥有一个可持续的绿色未来展开。文章之前已经在壳牌内部和外部官方网站上发布，并安排在下期出版的《壳牌世界》杂志刊载。中文版译自英文原文。
As the Beijing Olympics approach, China＇s economic growth and environmental record are in the spotlight. With 1.3 billion people, it is the world＇s most populous country and its fastest- rising economy. Factories and foundries are operating at full throttle. To feed its astonishing growth, China produces and consumes increasing amounts of energy, much of it from coal-fired power plants.
