Absorbing Western Post-Tonal Techniques in Pitch Structure:An Analysis of Chen Yi's Woodwind Quintet and Near Distance

作为博士论文《中国音乐语言用西方乐器习惯用法诠释——论陈怡创作西方器乐曲时中西方观念和技术的融合过程》的一个章节,通过对陈怡《木管五重奏》和《遇》两首作品在音高结构和曲式结构方面的分析,可以发现对十二音技术和自由无调性技术的学习、运用及创新是她的作曲风格形成的重要原因。现代西方技术与中国民间音乐传统的融合标志着她的作曲风格的形成。

Through the analysis of Chen Yi＇s Woodwind Quintet and Near Distance mainly on pitch construction and formal structure, her study, application, and further applicable invention of Western twelve-tone and free-atonal techniques as well as the fusion of Western post-tonal compositional techniques and traditional Chinese music during the process of her stylistic formation are explored.
