Soybean phospholipid (SBPL) which is a by-product obtained from the process of manufacture of soybean oil is an ideal natural raw material with many uses,it has unique functions and actions,so it has been widely applied in various of fields. For this reason,the chemical compositions and characteristics in physics and chemistry for SBPL as well as the methods of preparation have been systematically described in this paper,and its applications in many industries,such as cosmetics,foods,health products etc. has also been introduced.
