摘要
爱伦·坡在通俗文化中被普遍接受,其影响大大超出了文学范畴,并上升为一种复杂的文化现象。这一现象出现的主要原因是坡作品中丰富的文化蕴含和本土特色对现代读者阅读期待的多重满足及其与当下大众审美文化心理的契合产生了时代共鸣,而消费文化时代的文化工业在坡现象的产生中扮演着重要的角色。爱伦.坡现象为我们重新思考全球化语境下的诸多文学问题提供了新的文化参照。
In popular culture, Edgar Allan Poe's influence has gone far beyond the scope of literature and has developed into a complex cultural phenomenon. The main reason for this is that the rich cultural implications and the indigenousness of Poe's works have been able to satisfy every demand of modem readers and that Poe's aesthetic affinity to the cultural consumer psychology has got a ready response among readers. Besides, the culture industry in the era of consumer culture has played a very important role in the rise of the Poe phenomenon, which can serve as a new cultural frame of reference for our meditation upon literatary studies in the context of globalization.
