关系网络类型与企业集群技术创新

Social Networks′ Pattern and Technological Innovation Within Industrial Cluster

产业集群内企业主的不同社会关系网络类型对企业技术创新活动有重要影响。在对广东省小榄镇产业集群进行案例研究的基础上,发现由兄弟姐妹、亲戚、朋友和同乡组成的强关系网络在集群企业的技术活动中扮演了非常重要的角色,同时,集群企业在解决自身技术问题时对强关系网络的过分依赖不利于企业的技术升级和创新,从而在一定程度上加剧了企业集群的技术锁定状态。因此,为了减少强关系网络对企业集群技术创新的不利影响,有必要扩展企业的网络联系渠道,打破企业集群中的强关系限制。

The paper focuses on analyzing the impact brought about by individual＇ s social networks to firm＇ s technological innovation. Based on case study of industrial cluster in Xiaolan Town, Guangdong Province, it finds that the strong ties composed of brothers, sisters, relatives, friends and townsman plays important role in firm＇s technological innovation. However,excessive dependence on strong ties also causes unexpected limits to firm＇ s technological creation, resulting in the technology lock-in within industrial cluster to a certain extent. Therefore, to reduce negative effect exerted by strong ties on technology upgrading within industrial cluster, it＇ s necessary to break the constraint of strong ties and broaden firm＇ s networks.
