针对机械类产品的设计特点,结合现代CAD技术提供的技手段,提出了产品快速设计系统的概念,对产品快速设计系统的特征进行了总结。对构建产品快速设计系统时所涉及的基于特征的建模技术、基于关联的部件间建模、基于模型的知识表示、基于事例的产品模型的构建、面向产品设计过程的用户界面设计的关键技术、主模型技术等关键技术进行了研究。

The key technologies to construct product rapid design system, which are the feature-based modeling, modeling between parts based on relativities, knowledge expression based on model, the construction of product model based on instance, the user interface facing the work flow of define product design, master model, etc. are researched.
