This paper sorts out the writing educational ideological framework of Mr. Hong Zongli, a Chinese educationist. Such conclusions have been reached as the Core of his writing education is ＂ cultivation of a whole person＂, and that he insists on starting with the exploration of the basic sequence of writing instruction, and seeking support from reading instruction, and gripping the key of leading writing, and always keeping the ideal state of flexible teaching and writing, eventually achieving the fundamental values of writing education.
