5月12日,四川汶川发生8.0级大地震。一瞬间,山崩地裂;一转眼,无数建筑毁损倒塌。随之而来的,是交通、电力、通讯中断,数十万人生死未卜。
突如其来的灾难震惊了世界,灾情牵动着中南海,震撼着每一个中国人的心。面对这场地震灾害,英勇、顽强的中国人民,在党中央、国务院的坚强领导下,万众一心,众志成城,以空前的凝聚力和协作精神谱写着一曲举国抗震救灾的壮歌。
On May 12th, a severe earthquake which had a magnitude of 8.0 struck Wenchuan, Sichuan province. The unexpected calamity shocked the whole country and the world and affected all Chinese peoples' feeling. Under the leadership of the Party, we Chinese work with one heart and one mind, fight the balefulness with unprecedented cohesive force, compose a resisting song. Besides donation, the construction machinery industry in China attach itself to rescue with numbers of large scale constrction equipments.
