An emulsion water-proof coatings based on acrylic graftmodified polystyrene foam blended with asphalt has been prepared, which can be used as water-proof material for roofing. This article describes the process of preparation, lists the technical specification of the coatings and discusses the influence of acrylic modified PS and other components on the coatings film performance.
