Feminist criticism explores sex-oriented vision and space as well as its linguistic features. This essay discusses these two features in Emily Dickinson＇s poems. With the seemingly gentle female images and anti-traditional poetical language, the poet deprecated the male-centered social culture and build up a brand new pattern of her own.
