摘要
本文简要介绍了美国著名"垮掉派"作家塞林格其人其作《麦田里的守望者》;分析了作品产生的背景以及深层次的原因;最后提出了作品深刻的历史意义、社会意义以及对当代"新生代"大学生的借鉴和反思作用。
This piece of writing discusses in a brief manner the masterpiece of J. D. Salinger-the representative of the Beat Generation-The Catcher in the Rye;analyzes the background and the deeper causes underlining the work;finally ventures to put forward the historical and social significance of it , and also the revealing and illuminating implication toward the ＂new generation＂ of the 21 century.
