试谈阿列克谢耶夫对《聊斋志异》的解读

On Alexeev's Understanding of Strange Stories from a Chinese Studio

阿列克谢耶夫是前苏联伟大的汉学家,他对《聊斋志异》的翻译和研究是他平生最为得意的学术成果之一。本文拟通过解读他关于《聊斋志异》的一篇学术论文,提炼出阿列谢耶夫在该论文中力图阐释的问题——中国士大夫阶层个人生活和社会生活矛盾的悲剧,并分析出阿列谢耶夫对《聊斋志异》这样解读的原因,是基于与蒲松龄对社会问题的共同认识。最后,通过论证也指出阿列克谢耶夫这篇论文的偏颇之处。

As one of the greatest Sinologists in the former Soviet Union, Alexeev prided himself on his translation and studies of the Strange Stories from a Chinese Studio （ or L/so Zhai Zhi Yi）. Through reviewing one of his research papers, the author attempts to single out the contradictory tragedy that the Chinese scholar-bureaucrats experienced in their personal and social lives-- a key issue Alexeev wanted to address in his paper; and to ascribe this viewpoint of Ahxeev＇ s to the common understanding of social problems that he shared with Songling Pu. Finally, some biased arguments in Ahxeev＇ s paper are also pointed out.
