摘要
孟浩然是中国盛唐时期的著名诗人,斯宾塞是英国文艺复兴时期的伟大诗人,他们虽生活在不同的国度和时代,但他们空怀济世之志却又不曾见用于世的经历以及他们对各自时代诗风的承启作用和所作出的贡献,则有很多相同之处。本文从三个方面对两位诗坛巨匠进行了对比分析,认为无论一个诗人生活在什么时代、哪个国度,无论用世与否,都可以在创作方面建于执着,立于不朽。
Meng Haoran was a famous poet during the prosperous Tang Dynasty, and Edmund Spenser was a great poet during the English Renaissance. They lived in different nations at different times, but they shared numerous common aspects in their life experiences ： both were ambitious in making contributions to the society but neither of them was rightly employed by their governments; nevertheless both of them made great contributions in inheriting the past and ushering in the future poetry writers of their respective times. This writing compares the two celebrities with three aspects and concludes that regardless his time, nationality or recognition of the government, a poet can get eternally established with his persevering efforts.
