In this paper, the software of ADAMS is introduced. The development of packaging machinery ,the computer simulation technology especially ADAMS and its application in design of packaging machinery are summarized. It was illustrated that the virtual prototype of packaging machinery was simulated in virtual environment. The whole movement and endurance complexion of the products are expressed. By comparing several schemes of design rapidly, the optimized project of the packaging machinery was attained.
