摘要
外宣翻译要符合外宣工作的原则与要求,但从关联论视角而言外宣翻译又存在"再创造"现象。结合关联理论的一些基本概念,可以从三方面探讨关联论视角下的外宣翻译"再创造":一,灵活处理标题,实现最佳关联;二,合理处理行话和政治术语,达到交际双方"互明";三,直接翻译或间接翻译,使译者意图与读者期待相吻合。
This paper studies the "re-creation" phenomena in Chinese-English news translation for foreign audience from a relevance-theoretic perspective. After introducing some central concepts the paper points out from three aspects the reflections of relevance theory on the "re-creation" in this particular genre of Chinese-English translation, thus providing sufficient evidence to prove that relevance theory has the greatest possible explanatory power in this respect.
