摘要
韩国公务员职级制度包括司书职源于1949年制定的《公务员聘用令》。司书公务员根据所属单位以不同方式聘用,但在聘用程序上遵守同一原则和标准。韩国司书公务员的职级体系按照九级至五级的顺序运营,从2007年至今在政府工作的司书公务员人数估计达到4000人以上。近年来,由于公务员名额减少使得司书公务员在聘用方面存在一定的困难,但在增建公共图书馆以及《学校图书馆振兴法》的影响之下,公共图书馆的司书及司书教师数量将有所增加。
Librarians as government employees came into being in Korea by the Government Worker Appointment Regulations which were established in 1949. Librarians are appointed by different procedures according to their affiliated organizations, but their appointment procedure is managed based on the same rules and standards. The librarians as government employees are classified into 5 levels, from level 9 to 5. The number of librarians working at the national government organization in 2007 was estimated more than 4000. Recently, owing to the diminution of regular government employees, it is more difficult to employ a new librarian. Nevertheless, because of the increase number of the public library buildings and the effect of the School Library Promotion Law, the number of the librarians in public and school libraries are expected to increase to some degree.
