全球化是不可逆转的历史发展趋势。其中，经济全球化、教育全球化与职业教育发展联系最为紧密，并带来诸多的严峻挑战。经济全球化方面主要涉及，职业结构和就业结构的不断调整对以控制为特征的职业教育运行机制的挑战；生产和服务遵循国际惯例的劳动者素质提升对职业学校学术性培养目标的挑战；劳动者持续的终身学习需求对学校形态的职业教育办学功能单一的挑战。教育全球化方面主要涉及，发达的国家教育机构和投资者对日益开放的职业教育市场的挑战；市场导向的国际服务贸易理念对政府主导的职业教育体制的挑战；要求遵循国际惯例法规对相对滞后和保守的教育政策法规的挑战。

Globalization is an irreversible development trend of history, and economic globalization and educational globalization relate most closely to the development of vocational education and also brought forward serious challenge for vocational education. Economic globalization mainly involve the following aspects; the challenge of adjustment of vocational structure and employment structure to vocational education operational mechanism characterized by control; the challenge of worker quality enhancement which their production and service should comply with international convention to the academic cultivation objectives of vocational schools; the challenge of sustainable development demand of workers to the singleness of school-running; function of school modality vocational education. Educational globalization mainly involve the following; the challenge of educational institutions and investors from developed countries to the increasingly open vocational education market; the challenge of market-oriented international service trade view to government-dominated vocational education system; the challenge of demand for complying with international convention and rules to relative conservative and lagging educational policies.
