摘要
宜黄地区是赣中南浅变质岩系与武夷中深变质岩系的交接地带，通过１∶５万地质填图已证实，两套变质岩系具有相同的原岩建造和变形历史，其变质作用具“空间上渐变过渡，时间上渐进演化”之特点。
The Yihuang area is located in the juncture between the Centralsouth Jiangxi epimetamorphic series and the Wuyi Mesometamorphic series.Geological mapping at a scale of 1:50 000 has revealed that these two metamorphic series have the same protolith formation and deformation history.The metamorphism they experienced is characterized by “gradational transition in space and progressive evolution in time”,thus bringing to light the whole course of Caledonian orogeny from generation through development to extinction.
