摘要
通过1∶5万湖口县幅区域地质调查,应用地层学和沉积学新理论、新方法,对湖口—彭泽陆相盆地进行了第四系岩层划分、沉积相研究,取得了一些新的进展:首次应用基本层序特征及岩性组合进行了组级地层划分;依据基本层序特征、岩石地层分布形态及沉积构造,恢复了沉积相;查明了各岩石地层单位之间的接触关系。
During a regional geological survey at a scale of 1:50 000 Hukou County sheet,the following new advances have been made in applying new stratigraphic and sedimentologic theory and method to the stratigraphic classification and sedimentary facies study of the Quaternary System in Hukou basin, stratigraphic classification has been made on the basis of the basic sequential features and associations for the first time ;the sedimentary facies has been reconstructed based on basic sequential features,distribution form of lithostrata and sedimentary structures;the contact relations between the various lithostratigraphic units have been brought to light ,providing new bases for further study of the Quaternary system in this area.
