摘要
本文采用语料库方法对英国英语和新加坡英语口语中的会话套语进行比较分析,着重研究语料库五种口语文本类型的语料中出现的致谢和请求言语行为的会话套语及其语言表现形式、使用频率、会话套语的分布和分布特征。用于研究的语料选自国际英语语料库两个平行分语料库,即英国语料库和新加坡语料库。笔者发现,在致谢和请求会话套语使用方面,英国英语和新加坡英语两种英语变体存在着异同点。
This research paper attempts to conduct a corpus-based comparative analysis of formulas in spoken British and Singapore English. It mainly investigates their linguistic realizations, frequencies, distribution and distributive features in the two speech acts, thanking and requesting, in the five text types of the two parallel corpora of the ICE project, ICE-GB and ICESIN. It has been found that there are similarities and differences between British English and Singapore English in the use of formulas of thanking and requesting.
