Objective: To probe into new methods of establishing venous path for patients with shock, so as to win the time for rescuing shock patients. Methods: A total of 346 enrolled patients were divided into test group (176 cases) and control group (170 cases) randomly. Patients of test group were carried out new method of venepuncture. However, control group cases accepted general routine method to establish venous path. Results: There was no statistical significant difference in general clinical data including gender, age, shock degrees between the two groups. The puncture achievement ratio of test group cases was 96.59 % (170 cases). The puncture achievement ratio of control group cases was 88.7% (150 cases). There was statistical significant difference in terms of the puncture achievement ratio between the two groups ( P 〈 0.05 ). Conclusion: New venepuncture method can effectively enhance the puncture achievement ratio for shock patients and win the time for them.
