Relationship Between the Han Dynasty's Confucian Classics and Poetics

汉代是古代诗学的过渡期,由于汉代经学的权威地位,使汉代诗学的发展在很大程度上受经学的影响,并主要表现在三个方面:一是汉代经学促进了诗学的发展;二是经学的今、古文之别导致了汉代诗学的不同特色和价值;三是汉代诗学受经学的制约。

The Han Dynasty is a transition period of Chinese ancient poetics. The development of poetics in the Han Dynasty was influenced by Confucian Classics due to its authoritive position in the Han Dynasty, which can be presented in the following three aspects. First, the Han Dynasty＇s Confucian Classics promoted the development of poetics. Second, the difference of Confucian Classics between the Han Dynasty＇s works and the pre-Qin Dynasty＇s works led to the different characteristics and values of poetics in the Han Dynasty. Third, the poetics was restricted by the Han Dynasty＇s Confucian Classics.
