This paper outlines the composition, structure and mechanical properties of sisal fiber （ SF ） and the processing characteristics of polypropylene （ PP ）. And summary the status quo of domestic and foreign for polypropylene composite materials reinforced by sisal fibres, and theirs research progress of the future.
