通过对■卣铭文的分析,可知丙族是和商王室同姓的贵族家族,属于子姓。丙族铜器集中出土于山西省灵石县旌介村,以旌介铜器群为代表的青铜文化系统,具有浓厚的商文化特点。这一文化系统所代表的方国,是商王朝分封王室成员建立的,是商王朝在晋南地区建立的一个据点。

The clan bing resided in Lingshi, Shanxi province through the excavating of tombs of Jingjie. The state founded by the clan bing was a beachhead of the Shang Dynasty in the south of the Shanxi province.
