This article approaches the regularity of Chinese sentence order using the concept of calculating degree. It believes that Chinese sentence order abides by the principle in which the syntax ingredients on high calculating degree occupy preceding syntax position. Moreover, it explains that this principle is decided by Chinese cognitive pattern.
