Defibrin for injection compling with the quality standard from Agkistrodon acutus venom wasprepared with DEAE-Sephadex A50 chromatography. 600~800 units was obtained in 1 g crude ven-om. Assay for arginine estrase activity was a more efficient and reasonable in the productive process.
