The digital design technique can improve design level of products and strengthen a enterprise competition ability. This paper explains the development process of digital design technical and characteristics, and introduce its application in domestic and international large equipment, analyzes petrolium equipment system in detail, which usually should have modules of analysis, evaluation and simulation etc. The examples of key military petrolium equipment are introduced.
