汉、日颜色词的象征意义与语用意义的异同

Similarities and Differences in Symbolic and Pragmatic Meanings between Chinese and Japanese Color Words

在人类的语言生活中,存在着大量记录颜色的符号颜色词。这些词不仅用于描绘自然界的丰富色彩,并具有丰富的感情色彩和文化内涵,而且由于人类文化的共性,各种语言对颜色的表达有许多相同之处,但由于不同的国家和民族有着不同的历史及文化背景,使得相同的词蕴含不同的象征意义,从而导致在语用意义上的不同。本文拟从文化背景、象征意义角度对汉日语颜色词的语用意义进行对比和探讨。

Color words are pervasive in human language. Taking on rich emotional colouring and cultural connotation, color words are used to describe the rich colors of the world. Due to the commonness shared by different cultures, there are similarities on the expressions of color between different languages. For different countries and nations have different histories and cultures, even the same word takes on different symbolic meanings, thus leading to differences in pragmatic meanings. This paper studies the differences of pragmatic meaning between Chinese and Japanese color words from the perspective of cultural background and symbolic meaning.
