摘要
20世纪80年代以来,奈达的翻译理论对我国翻译界影响颇大,功能对等理论作为其理论核心,在译界被广泛接受。但也逐渐引起了许多争议,对该理论在翻译理论和实践的指导作用和解释能力也提出了种种疑问。文章尝试对功能对等理论进行全面解读并分析其受到的各种质疑,肯定功能对等理论在翻译研究中的地位和作用。
Since the beginning of 1980s, Nida＇s translation theory has been the most influential theory. The Functional Equivalence Theory, as its core, has been widely accepted in the field of translation, but there are also a lot of debates in China with the time going. Its competence of guidance and interpretation to translation study and practice has been questioned. The present paper tries to have a close reading of the Functional Equivalence Theory and make an analysis of all kinds of questions and criticisms over it. It will also give a re-evaluation of the position and role of Functional Equivalence Theories in translation studies.
