About Multiple Element and Mutual Communication Teaching of College English

摘要 传统的大学英语教学存在着重语言现象,轻信息获取;重语法细节,轻篇章整体;重知识灌输,轻能力培养的误区。纠正这种倾向的根本途径是倡导大学英语多元互动教学法,加强听、说、读、写、译的综合训练。 In the traditional performance of College English teaching, there exists a common misleading phenomenon where the teaching focus is on the language points, grammar details and knowledge input, instead of on the information acquisition, passage context and skills development. The only way to improve this phenomenon is to develop multiple element and mutual communication teaching of college English, that is to adopt the goodness of all kinds of teaching methods, and introduce the all-round information teaching mode which provides the comprehension training of listening, speaking, reading, writing and translating.
